How we handle your information.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what information FIFO collects through this website (the “Site”), how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies to visitors who browse the Site and to anyone who submits a form through it. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

This is a plain-language policy describing our actual, current practices — it is not a substitute for legal advice.

2. Who FIFO is

FIFO is an independent creative and technology studio working with clients in India and internationally. FIFO is not currently registered or incorporated as a company, LLP, or other formal legal entity — the studio operates as an independent practice, with incorporation (anticipated as a Limited Liability Partnership) expected at a later stage. This policy will be updated with registered entity details once that happens.

References to “FIFO,” “we,” “us,” or “our” mean the individuals currently operating the FIFO studio practice and this website.

3. Information we collect

Information you provide voluntarily

We do not require you to create an account or log in. The only personal information we collect is what you choose to submit through one of the forms on this Site:

• Book a Call — name, email, company, preferred method/time, topic, and any additional notes.
• Send a Note — name, email, company, a website or link, budget/scope, timeline, and a description of what you're working on.
• Join the Team — name, email, discipline, location, a portfolio link, a CV/resume link, an additional link, and a short introduction.
• Work With Us (independent talent) — name, email, location, discipline, years of experience, availability, engagement preference, expected rate, portfolio and work-sample links, CV link, LinkedIn/GitHub/other links, and a short introduction.
• Collaborate — name, company, email, project/service type, timeline, budget, project link, brief/deck link, a description of what you're building, what you need from us, and any additional notes.

All of these fields are typed text or links you choose to enter — the forms do not accept file uploads.

Information collected automatically

The Site is served as static files. We do not run our own server-side analytics or logging. Standard technical information (such as your IP address, browser type, and request timestamps) is nonetheless visible to our hosting/CDN provider, Cloudflare, as part of ordinary web traffic handling — see Section 5 below. We do not separately collect or store this information ourselves.

4. Purpose of collection and how information is used

We use the information you submit only to:

• respond to your enquiry, call request, note, or application;
• evaluate collaboration, hiring, or talent-network requests;
• keep a record of the conversation for our own reference; and
• contact you back at the email address you provided.

We do not use form submissions for advertising, profiling, or automated decision-making, and we do not sell your information.

5. Form submissions and Web3Forms

Every form on this Site is processed by Web3Forms (web3forms.com), a third-party form-delivery service. When you submit a form, the data you entered is sent directly from your browser to Web3Forms' API over HTTPS, and Web3Forms forwards it to us by email. We do not operate our own database or backend to store form submissions — the record that exists is the email notification (and Web3Forms' own dashboard, to the extent Web3Forms retains a copy under its own policies).

Because Web3Forms acts as our data processor for this purpose, we encourage you to review Web3Forms' own privacy policy for details of how it handles data in transit.

6. Hosting and infrastructure (Cloudflare)

This Site is hosted using Cloudflare's infrastructure. As with any site served over the internet, Cloudflare's network necessarily processes standard connection information (IP address, browser/user-agent string, request timestamps) to deliver pages to you and to protect the Site against abuse. We do not use Cloudflare's analytics or advertising products on this Site. In limited circumstances — for example, if a security check is triggered — Cloudflare's infrastructure may set a technical cookie required to complete that check; this is part of Cloudflare's hosting service and is not something FIFO configures or controls directly.

7. Other third-party service providers

Beyond Web3Forms and Cloudflare, this Site loads typefaces from Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com / fonts.gstatic.com). Loading a font file from Google's servers means your browser makes a request to Google, which can include your IP address and browser information, in line with Google's own privacy policy. All other scripts and libraries used by the Site (including React and ReactDOM) are served directly from FIFO's own hosting rather than a third-party CDN.

We do not use any advertising networks, analytics platforms, session-recording tools, or tracking pixels on this Site.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

FIFO's own code does not set any cookies, and does not read from or write to browser localStorage or sessionStorage. For details of what this actually means in practice (including the limited, infrastructure-level exception described in Section 6), see our Cookie Policy.

9. Data retention

We keep form submissions for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry and for our own record-keeping (for example, in our email inbox), and no longer than needed for that purpose. If you ask us to delete your information, we will do so from records under our control, subject to Section 12.

10. Data security

Form data is transmitted over HTTPS. Access to the email inbox and any records containing your information is limited to the people operating FIFO. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security — we have not made, and do not make, claims of end-to-end encryption, ISO certification, or similar formal security certifications, because none currently apply to this Site.

11. Data sharing and disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with:

• Web3Forms, to deliver form submissions to us (Section 5); and
• Cloudflare, as our hosting/infrastructure provider (Section 6).

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property.

12. Your rights

Depending on your location, and consistent with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may have rights to access, correct, or request erasure of your personal information, to withdraw consent you previously gave, and to raise a grievance about how your information has been handled. To exercise any of these, write to us at hello@fifo.studio and we will respond within a reasonable time.

Because FIFO is not yet a registered legal entity, we do not have a formally appointed Data Protection Officer or grievance officer. Privacy enquiries are currently handled directly by the people operating FIFO through the contact address above; this will be updated once the studio is formally incorporated.

13. Consent and withdrawal

Submitting a form on this Site is voluntary and constitutes your consent for us to use the information as described in Section 4. You may withdraw that consent at any time by emailing hello@fifo.studio; we will stop using your information for further outreach, except where we need to retain a record for legitimate purposes such as resolving a dispute.

14. Children's privacy

This Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will delete it upon request.

15. Third-party links

This Site may reference or link to third-party sites, including client or project websites shown in our portfolio. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, and this policy does not cover them.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect FIFO's eventual incorporation. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change whenever we do. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
